Most people equate blacksmithing with someone who shoes horses. As a contemporary artist blacksmith, using techniques not any different from those blacksmiths of the past, I express my vision and feelings in a personal way. To me the traditional uses of metal, glass, and stone for creating artwork have always been fascinating however when combined with new and innovative approaches can culminate in unique forms of art. I blend iron, glass, and stone into permanent fine artwork which enhance any surroundings and provide sensual value to the beholder.
