President’s Message
As a new president for the Corrales Society of Artists, 2023 was an exciting year of learning on my part. I had the best mentor in Ken Duckert and he set me up for success with a remarkable group of people that make up the CSA board of directors. Corrales is in the mists of becoming a designated Arts and Cultural District, hopefully submitting the final step in June. Last year, CSA contributed to process by hosting an children’s art show and creating a collaborated community art project during Viva Corrales. The community art piece can be seen in the storybook Garden which is on the south side of Corrales Library. This year’s Viva Corrales will span three weekends showcasing, Giddy Up and Ride, CSA’s Art and Studio Tour and Hertiage Days. Read more…
Art in the Park in Corrales is back!
The Corrales Society of Artists presents this year’s event at La Entrada Park in conjunction with the unveiling of the Mural from Viva Corrales! In addition to tons of great art we’ll have food trucks and music, including Truth Be Told (11-1) and Terry Winchell & The Fine Line (1:30-3). Come visit the Kiwanas/CSA Children’s Art Tent and watch Plien Air Painters demonstrate their craft live throughout the day! More info…
Membership
The Corrales Society of Artists (CSA) invites artists in Corrales and greater Albuquerque area to consider joining and becoming a CSA member. Membership is open to all New Mexico artists. Artists need not reside in Corrales to be a member. Artists wishing to show and sell their work at CSA sponsored events, must be CSA members. JOIN NOW!
