My second favorite job, retirement, has allowed me to get back to my long ignored creative side. I began by making an award winning educational film at USC while getting my teaching degree. I later apprenticed at a stained glass studio, liking it so much I opened my own studio which lived for 10 years. After 32 years in the financial securities industry I am back to making things with my hands. That is where my passion lies. I still make some glass and wood projects buy my love has turned to clay. I find working in clay to be relaxing, rewarding and challenging. I lean more towards form versus function. My love for architecture seems to find its way into some of my pieces. My creative spirit is inspired daily since returning to my roots in Corrales where I lived as a boy.
