After spending over 30 years in the U.S Diplomatic Service, I retired and returned to New Mexico to pursue my art. For many of my pieces, I have chosen portraits of people from my time in Africa where I was inspired by the wonderful Masaai in Kenya, the Tauregs from Niger and in New Mexico, the Native Americans who have given so much to the culture of New Mexico.
