I am a fiber and mixed media artist whose work includes art quilts and art dolls. I am always interested in exploring how to use fibers and fabric in new ways.
I am a mother of three wonderful adults, and have three beautiful grandchildren. I am originally from Virginia and now currently reside here in Corrales, New Mexico.
All the many places and landscapes where I have lived often influence my art, as I am passionate about the environment, and animals. I also love making fantasy art as well. I get excited about using all manor of threads and embellishments on my fabrics to bring life to my creations, and mostly because I love sparkle and bling!
I enjoy making my own hand dyed fabrics and have recently begun weaving and felting which finds its way into the clothing and accessories on my dolls from time to time.
I love taking commissions for specific dolls that people have in mind. One of my largest art quilts, “I Want to Believe”, was accepted into Fiber Art Fiesta in 2022, and I have also exhibited in several themed shows in Albuquerque.
