My sculptures depict the culture and customs of Native Americans. It’s important to me to honor the Native American Way of life which respects all living things.
My sculptures are entirely hand built. I do not use any pre-forms. The piece is required for a sculpture are cut and put together. They go through a bisque fire, when they come out, I choose glazes of the colors and patterns found in nature. The next part of the process is the glaze firing, and finally I adorn the sculptures with natural animal fur, feathers carved from bone, real feathers, glass, beads carved beads, and shields that I make.
