Panache at the ExNovo Brewery

January 27, 2019

Corrales MainStreet held its second ArtsAlive! on January 27. The event involved Corrales merchants, restaurants, galleries, wineries and provided a sneak peek at the new brewery, ExNovo, being constructed in the Village.

CSA was well represented. 14 of its finest artists presented a magnificent display of art at ExNovo among tall stainless steel tanks waiting to be connected, turn on and filled with beer. A conservative estimate of 500 visitors has been offered. Artists just saw a four hour river of folks come though the brewery. This was a great event for all of the artists, and more importantly, for the Village of Corrales.

Barb Clark, Laura Balombini, Bonnie Mitisek and Juan Winjgaard offered their latest creations on canvas. Sandy Corless, Dennis Chamberlain, Lynne Pomeranz and Ken Duckert displayed their magical skills with photography. Chris Turri, Dave Sabo, and Glen Smith showed their very popular and compelling metal sculptures. Rick Snow and Cathy Veblen, master potters displayed their latest work. Paul Tenoso, Hetopah, was also there to share his Native American Stone Age Art and entertained visitors with his stories that continue to captivate young and old. The Corrales Society of Artists is proud to present this distinguished group of local artists. It was a Corrales Classic!

ArtsAlive! is a monthly event, usually held on the final Friday of the month. CSA Artists will have more opportunities to show their work as part of this ongoing event.
