Corrales Society of Artists  (CSA)is a state of New Mexico nonprofit organization formed in 2007, as well as a federal nonprofit organization.

When Patti Norman and Pauline Eisenstadt had coffee a year earlier, little did they know that years later, their idea of an “in the park, community event” would evolve into a 100+ member strong art organization.

Today, the organization’s membership includes artists from Corrales, as well as the surrounding areas from southern to northern New Mexico.

CSA  works closely with the Corrales community, schools and businesses. including the Corrales Kiwanis Club, the Corrales Art Center, and Corrales MainStreet.

For many years, the Corrales Kiwanis Club has sponsored the children’s tent at Art in the Park. They provide tents, tables and chairs for each event, in addition to local announcements in their media publications at no cost.

CSA members continue to donate their time and knowledge to local and area schools, as well as continuing to include the children of the community in the annual studio tour.

The mission of CSA is to foster a vibrant and distinctive artistic community in Corrales and New Mexico by promoting, exhibiting and providing venues for selling the work of emerging and established artists through art exhibitions and educational programming, and by serving as a resource to all who seek to expand their appreciation, knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of art.

It Takes a Village

CSA members juried a children’s art program for the Cottonwood Montessori School in Corrales. The Young in Art program has been sponsored by Frame N’ Art and the local Kiwanis Club for more than 10 years.
